PLEASE READ: THE TRUTH ABOUT THUMBTACK!!!
The truth is, as soon as you contact vendors for your garage door you will be harassed with phone calls and companies wanting to come out to give you a free estimate. We don't do that.
- No Surprises. We'll call you only once. We respect your time and privacy. No follow-up calls unless you request them. No upselling. No cheap selling tactics such as "we have a tech in your area right now".
- Straightforward Pricing: Our prices are listed upfront. No hidden fees, no haggling. See below for prices.
-No pressure: Review our services at your leisure. We’re here when you’re ready.
- Customer Empowerment: We believe in empowering you with all the information you need to make an informed decision.
Below is our price list. We will not call you, we will not offer you a "free" estimate or a yearly maintenance plan.
Thumbtack charges a substantial fee vendors pay for each lead that comes in. Please read our pricing below and contact us only if interested, that's how we can keep prices low on this platform.
Regarding the cost of service, please see the breakdown below. While many vendors may insist on an initial visit, we feel comfortable providing upfront pricing.
- Service call and first hour of work: $120. Includes addressing any issues that do not require parts other than lubricants, screws, wire nuts, tape, etc. Each additional hour will be charged at a rate of $75.
- Spring replacement for residential doors: $245 for one spring or $325 for both springs (includes service call fee and parts).
- Cable replacement: $150 (includes new cables and service call fee).
For spring and cable replacement, the price will be the cost of the spring replacement plus $50.
- New opener installation supplied by you: $295.
- New opener installation with opener provided by us (Genie or Craftsman, depending on what's available): $645.
Any other services will be quoted accordingly.
Lastly, it's important to note that Thumbtack will charge a substantial fee for this lead BUT ONLY if you reach out to us. If you're not interested or if you've already found a vendor, please do not reply.
We are California Licensed Contractor.
Thank you very much for your consideration.
