I'm flexible on pricing. Trying to meet the customer and at the same time keeping a margin for any undisclosed or unexpected situation that the job requires

As in general with any customer. Be kind and transparent about any questions needed to quote the job

I'm an automation engineer. I worked doing construction and remodeling homes so I acquired a lot experience there as well.

As a side hustle. My profession involves multiple areas related with what I do

In general good customers. There are some more particulars than other but either way I enjoy helping them out

Replacing 2 ceiling fans. I did it in around 1 hour 45 minutes

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Do you your research about the job in question to do. Google, youtube are good sources. That way you are aware of what especifics could be involved in the job and then use that as a reference when discussing a quote to avoid future missunderstandings.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

is this something worth to pay someone else to do? What's the market average cost? Can I do it my self in safely way looking at youtube videos? After that, is it still interest to hire someone?
