What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

We have a service call fee which covers the cost of the Technician coming to your house, providing a full inspection of your garage door and its components, and estimates for any work that may be needed based on that inspection. Anything beyond that would incur additional charges and would only be done with your approval.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

1) Book appointment (typically same day or next day) 2) Technician arrives on time to your home 3) Technician presents you with findings from a thorough inspection and discusses any proposed solutions 4) Technician performs repair during the same visit (we arrive at your house with a fully stocked vehicle ready for any situation) 5) Your garage door is up and running again - this time better than before!

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

All Technicians complete ProperShop Service Technician Training, a comprehensive training program that ensures any Technician in the field is skilled, ethical, reliable and friendly. Additionally, we provide ongoing training to Technicians in the field to continue to refine their skills and stay informed of any new products that hit the market.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

We recently took care of a couple who just moved into their new home. There were four garage doors on the property, of which only one had a garage door opener, and three had old and unsafe spring configurations. The customer requested we replace the unsafe spring configuration on three of the doors and a new, quieter, opener that could be controlled from a smart phone for the primary garage door near the front of the house. Additionally, we replaced the rollers, lubricated and tuned up all four doors as the owner had expressed an interest in making the doors run more smoothly and quietly. This entire project took the Technician 2.5 hours and we're particularly fond of it because we were able to address the variety of needs and requests of the customer. By the time the Technician left, everyone was happy and the customer had four safe, smooth, quiet garage doors.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Consider what is important to you. From experience, we see that when a customer's garage door is malfunctioning they need an honest and reliable service provider who can respond QUICKLY.
