What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

Although my prices are lower than most competitors, I guarantee you my quality of work is top of the line.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

For new customers I like to make sure their every need is met. I make sure to install the correct size and model that the customer needs. If the customer wants a customized item I will try my very best to obtain that for them.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I have 10 years in the garage door business. Trained by some of the very best at one of the top garage door companies,Ankmar garage doors, I spent even of those years learning the ins and outs of installing garage doors and garage door openers. The other three years I learned all the other contributing parts of a garage door like the track and springs.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

I started fresh out of high, looking for a job to make some extra cash. Eventually curiosity led to me learning about all the working parts of a door. One thing led to another and eventually after 10 years I decided to begin my own company and provide customers with good quality work without the high prices.

What types of customers have you worked with?

My clients range from someone looking for a simple spring replacement to customers who are doing a whole remodel.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

A customer needed a broken spring replaced on a Wayne Dalton garage door. Unfortunately a spring for that door cost around $600 to replace. Instead I managed to do a spring conversion and install a torsion spring for only $450. They got a lower price and also a better quality spring.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Be wary of what prices are being charged. Because this is a growing industry, many companies are charging prices that are way too high.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

Make sure if you have an HOA, you abide to their rules when replacing your garage door. Make sure you also get the correct measurements if installing a new garage door. Also think about how your garage will be used. If it's attached to the house and insulated, an insulated garage door is recommended. If there is a room above the garage, a belt drive opener is recommended to keep noise levels down.
