What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

We handle every customer differently due to every customer having different needs when it comes to their garage door. But we do follow the same process for each customer. Every customer gets a verifying phone call 30 minutes before they're scheduled for their service, estimate, or install. As well as reminder emails, with their technician's picture, so they know who to expect walking up to their home. And these are just some of the processes that we abide by at Wammack's Garage Door Repair.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

15 years of experience with Residential, Commercial, and industrial Overhead doors, overhead cranes, and electrical work. But Wammack's is just a residential garage door service business. We also have a few Master Technicians certified from the Institute of Door Dealer Education and Accreditation (IDEA).

How did you get started doing this type of work?

Wammack's owner started when he was about 15 years old installing garage doors for a family-owned business in Cincinnati, Ohio. Eddy, the owner is now 30 years of age.

What types of customers have you worked with?

We've had the pleasure of having worked with most customer types in the Columbus Metro Area. We service about 25 miles out from the center of Columbus in a circle, so we go to every area of town within the radius of 25 miles.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

Wammack's had the opportunity to install 5 Carriage House garage doors for a builder at his personal home. They picked an absolute beautiful set of garage doors.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Best advice I can give any customer, is choose who you're hiring from how the company values your time and their own. The cheapest option doesn't provide value, as the most expensive option doesn't understand value. Customers don't pay for parts, nor do they pay for time, they pay for knowledge, tools, punctuality, customer service, and reliability.
