What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

Our services are sold by the package. We begin with a consultation where we will listen to your frustrations, assess your needs and come up with a plan. What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

Once we have completed the consultation and come up with a plan, a team of 2 organizers will arrive to work along side of you. They will teach you the process of organizing as you work together so you will not only get organized, but understand how to maintain your space as well.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

We've worked with hundreds of clients in a wide variety of settings since opening our doors in 2004. Additionally, my education includes a degree in Human Development and the Family from the University of Nebraska as well as masters level counseling courses at Covenant Seminary. I've also completed courses in Life Coaching.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

I have always been naturally organized and was often found helping friends and relatives with this task. In 2004, at the suggestion of my husband, I found professional organizing and knew immediately that this was my calling in life!

What types of customers have you worked with?

Our best customers are ones that have situational disorganization. They may find themselves overwhelmed with clutter as a result of small children, a recent move, job change, divorce, loss of a loved one or other situations. We work with clients who struggle with ADHD and also work with clients who are fairly organized but want to take their spaces to the next level.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

Our favorite projects often tend to be helping clients get unpacked and settled in their new homes. We are passionate about getting things off on the right foot in a new home and we love setting things up, arranging furniture, hanging small art work and bringing a new home to life.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Make sure the organizer you choose is someone with whom you feel comfortable. Organizing is very personal and you will spend a lot of time together. It is also important that your organizer is willing to teach you the process as you organize together.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

Are you ready to let go of some of your belongings? Most organizational challenges are due to too much stuff rather than not enough space. If a space is overcrowded and a client does not want to part with anything, the situation will not improve. We find that most of our clients, even the ones who are initially resistant to letting go, find the editing process to be very freeing.
