Our pricing is transparent and competitive, with no hidden fees. We charge an hourly rate of $155 for 2 movers with a flat travel fee starting at $200 for locations within 25 miles. We require a 2-hour minimum, and billing continues in 15-minute increments after that. We offer a 5% discount for first responders, active military, and seniors. Additionally, we provide optional packing services and junk removal at an additional cost.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Our process starts with a free consultation, where we gather details about the move, provide a clear estimate, and answer any questions. Once booked, we confirm logistics and offer packing assistance if needed. On moving day, our team arrives on time, professionally handles your belongings, and ensures a smooth transition to your new location. Our job isn’t done until you’re completely satisfied.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
We have years of hands-on experience in the moving industry, handling thousands of moves of all sizes. Additionally, our team undergoes extensive training in packing, loading, furniture protection, and customer service to ensure the best moving experience. We also stay updated on industry best practices to continuously improve our services.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
My brother and I started Sunrise Moving and Packing LLC in 2021 with a vision to provide top-tier moving services with integrity, teamwork, and excellence. We saw a gap in the industry where customers often faced unreliable service, hidden fees, and poor communication. With a strong work ethic and a customer-first mindset, we built a company that prioritizes transparency, professionalism, and a stress-free moving experience.

We’ve worked with a wide range of customers, including residential clients, businesses, military personnel, and seniors. Whether it’s a local move, long-distance relocation, office move, or downsizing project, we have the experience and expertise to handle it. Our team is trained to work with high-value items, fragile belongings, and large furniture pieces, ensuring every move is handled with care.
Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
One of our favorite projects was a full-service residential move for a family transitioning to their dream home. The move involved careful packing, transportation, and unloading of delicate furniture and valuable items. The entire process took about 8 hours due to the size of the move and the customer’s special requests. Seeing the family’s relief and excitement at the end of the day made it a rewarding experience

When hiring a moving company, always check reviews, insurance coverage, and pricing transparency. Avoid companies with vague estimates or no clear policies. Look for movers who are licensed, insured, and upfront about costs. Also, ensure they have a proven track record of reliability and customer satisfaction—your belongings deserve careful handling by experienced professionals
