Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
My pricing will never be complicated. I tailor customized plans based on your needs and can beat any quote out there. But won't compromise ethics or level of service to do so.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
Get to know your needs and values. Match them up to what I can offer. Identify a strategy and apply a solution. Execute and hug on a mission accomplished under budget and/or ahead of schedule!

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
It is my goal to learn something new and relative to my career every day. I stay current on continuing education but knowledge is power. With an additional 300 hours of class room study, a CRPM designation, over 15 years of related work experience this is my field of expertise. I've put in the 10,000 hours. There is always a book on my nightstand about something relative to apply to my practice. It's the insatiable desire for learning that keeps me loyal to this industry and current on it's ever changing trends.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
I've always had an infatuation with homes, from architecture, construction, design, energy preservation to real estate. My first position in this field was based on a referral from a colleague. She was leaving her job that she loved and recommended I apply to be her replacement, I was hired, 17 at the time. Have never sought out another career path again. My passion is here and where I belong.

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
Tenants, homeowners, designers, attorneys contractors. Although I have a soft spot for investors.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

unfold fold
My current investor sphere has expressed a need for property management services. I was falling into it naturally and have now formally introduced it as the next phase of routine business.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
Interview several professionals, pick the one you trust and feel comfortable with. Not the one that shows you a slick slide show and shows up in the most expensive car. Pick the individuals who's skills you have a use for and personalty you can identify with, for you will likely work closely together to complete your goals. Pay attention to pricing, not just the dollar amount but the level of service you will be receiving for that price.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

unfold fold
What do you need and want out of the experience? What will make you happy for a long time to come? What is realistic?
