Introduction

Greetings and thanks for checking out my profile. My name is Steve Meyers and I have been a licensed agent here in San Diego county for the past 5 years helping both buyers and sellers of real estate throughout the county. For Buyers I specialize in working with First Time Buyers, Military Buyers looking to use their VA eligibility and Investment Buyers looking for a good investment. If you are looking to sell and buy at the same time I have a great program for that which allows you to purchase before selling making for an easy transition from one property to another. Homeowners who are looking to sell their asset, let's chat about your goals and what you want to accomplish. I have a comprehensive marketing plan that I do for all my listings to ensure that my clients achieve top dollar with their sale. If you have an investment property you can do a 1031 exchange to defer your capital gains tax into another investment property. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

Commission fees are always paid by the seller of a property. If you're a buyer I am completely free for you to work with. For sellers that need assistance selling their property my commission fee is based on the amount of marketing you would like done for the property, which can be discussed on a call. It ranges from 4-6%

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

For Buyers - We setup a time to do a zoom consultation so that I can go over the home buying process, market conditions and how to write a strong offer so that you know exactly what you need to do when it comes to house hunting. For Sellers - We setup a time when I can come out to the property to take a look and assess the condition and give you a home evaluation. I will also make my suggestions for improvements prior to listing which will help get you more money for your home in the end.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I have a Youtube channel with a lot of educational videos. Search - Steve Meyers - San Diego Real Estate Advisor I also provide a FREE no obligation buyer consult via zoom to help educate future buyers on the home buying process.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

-Hire someone who you feel has your best interests at heart -Make sure they have a good online presence with good reviews -Don't look for the cheapest pro when hiring as they say you get what you pay for

-What's your timeline for moving or getting your home listed by? -If selling do you need to make any improvements or upgrades before listing? -If buying have you spoken to a lender yet to start the preapproval process? -If buying do you have money saved up for a down payment/closing costs?
