What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

We pride ourselves on being available. Once you send in an inquiry, we will immediately be in touch to get information on you, your property and your real estate goals. Then, we will cater an individual plan for you.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

Wayland Properties Broker, Ashley received her real estate license in 2010 and went on to gain her California brokers license in 2015. Since then, she has achieved her Florida Brokers License and is also the Broker of Sanctuary Vacation Rentals.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

Real estate is something that I (Ashley) have always been curious and passionate about. Matter of fact, in my high school senior statement, I said that I would be a real estate broker! My passion and curiosity grow each year. I love that real estate is challenging and love finding creative solutions to my clients needs.

What types of customers have you worked with?

Wayland Properties works with individuals searching for their forever home or investment properties. We also enjoy working with investors to secure qualified tenants for investment properties. We encourage anyone with a need or even question regarding real estate to give us a call. Being a helping hand is our first priority.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

We recently secured tenants for a property in Marina in a week! We also recently sold a house in SeaHaven in a couple months as the market was changing. We relish in finding creative solutions for our clients to help them accomplish their real estate goals!

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Do your homework! Check online reviews of any professional. Ask around. Make sure that you are working with someone you enjoy as when you encounter challenges, you need to be sure they will be a good advocate for you.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

Ask about experience. Not just in education but in their field of expertise. Ask if they have experience in your area. Even though the Monterey Peninsula is small, each area has unique characteristics and challenges. Make sure that you have built out a list of your properties quirks too!
