Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
Listing agent services are typically paid by commission which can vary. Commissions are always negotiable.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
Once we have a plan in place, we like to come visit the customer at their house to take notes in order to provide the most accurate valuation for their property. In addition to providing listing services, we refer our clients to any vendors they might need, such as painters, movers, junk removal...etc.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
Lucas Tragos is the broker-owner of Real Estate Pros. Lucas has a BA from the University of Massachusetts Amherst and a real estate brokers license issued by the Board of Registration of Real Estate Brokers and Salespersons. In addition, Lucas also holds an FAA Part 107 commercial remote pilots license for drone operating.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
Lucas always knew he wanted to get involved in real estate from a young age. That is why he immediately studied for his salesperson license right out of college.

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
We have worked with all types of customers, including tenants looking to rent an apartment, landlords looking to find tenants, commercial and residential real estate investors, home owners looking to sell, and buyers looking for their first home.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

unfold fold
We recently sold a stunning, $3 million dollar new construction house in the Merriam Hill neighborhood of Lexington in just the first weekend. It only took 30 days to close thanks to us finding the right buyer for the house.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
Look for someone small and local. Big names mean nothing to you and your transaction. It requires the right team with insights and connections into the local market that you can't find anywhere else than with someone in your neck of the woods.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

unfold fold
Do not put too much emphasis on a brand name. Just because someone works for a national franchise, this does not make them a reliable or trusted resource when it comes to buying or selling real estate.
