SCL Properties, LLC when founded, specialized in purchasing foreclosed homes, renovating them completely and renting them to members of the community at reasonably priced rents. SCL Properties can now take its hand-on experience and assist others with their properties. We have first hand knowledge of the entire process from purchase to profit that allows us to serve our clients better. Unlike with larger companies, clients with fewer homes will get the specialized attention that they deserve and not be overlooked or neglected for clients with more investment properties. Our clients deal directly with the Broker-In-Charge, and owners first; not hired staff. This ensures that all clients receive customer service that we strive to deliver. We are committed to the delivery of quality residential investment management services with an emphasis in the management of duplexes, town homes, condos, small/large apartment communities, and single family homes.We specialize in the Rockingham, Guilford and Caswell counties. Here at SCL Properties, we enjoy working with both clients and tenants. Our Broker-In-Charge, Carol Lowe started managing apartment complexes for low income housing companies. It was there that she saw first hand the benefits of providing superior housing at reasonable pricing for those in need. Ms. Lowe interacted heavily with the both the tenants and the many investors involved with each property. What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

SCL Properties welcomes the opportunity to assist new customers and clients with excellent property management services. We aim to pinpoint exactly what services each client needs to make or maintain the profitability of their property and provide those services at a high standard. New clients can meet with any and all staff at their property or at a neutral location; whichever option is most feasible.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

SCL Properties added Carol Lowe, Broker-In-Charge for her ability and experience in managing multiple units at a time. Ms. Lowe has her full NC Broker-In-Charge license and allows SCL Properties, to manage properties for other clients. Ms. Lowe has years of experience managing single family homes, apartment complexes, duplexes and townhomes. Ms. Lowe has Fair Housing,North Carolina Housing Finance Agency-NCHFA, Community Affordable Housing Equity Corporation-CAHEC and Rural Development training, allowing her to serve our clients with a high standard of care. Our years of experience will undoubtedly assist any investment property owner with all of their property management needs.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

Real estate has been a passion for both Owners and Broker-In-Charge. Owners, Samuel and Linda Lowe always had a passion for DIY home renovations. This led to the purchase of the first investment property, and the rest is history. Many, many, many investment properties later, this passion has equipped our company with the knowledge to assist other owners of investment properties.

Here at SCL Properties, we enjoy assisting all of our clients with their individual needs. We enjoy every time we meet our clients needs and exceed their expectations. Whether we are overseeing renovation projects or basic management tasks, it is always a pleasure.
