Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
We give a real bid that we stick by. No mistakes, no coming back and asking for more money. The only time the bid will change is if you add more tasks to the project.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
We set up a time for an estimate, and we come by. Usually takes about a day and we will send you an estaimte with the job details outlined.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
Sid, our foreman, has 25+ years experience. Joel, our sheetrock guy, has 11 years experience. Jonathan, our general hand, has 6 years experience Jason, our maser carpenter, has 19 years experience

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
I am a real estate agent, and I saw a need for this. I have known our whole crew for at least 5 years so I put togther as a team. We have been doing great ever since.

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
Residentail and Commerical. We have done corner stores, apartment complexes, duplexes, we did part of the temple mall last year.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

unfold fold
Our first project comes to mind. It was for an aparment complex that was turning into a retirement home and rebranding itself. We did such a good job we were invited for the opening party, and we spent 2 days helping some of the residents move in free of charge.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
Don't go with the lowest bid just because its the lowest. 3 times last year we had to go in and fix other peoples mistakes. The look on client's faces when you tell them how much it is to fix mistakes is often not a pleseant one. Go with your gut! Get references, ask lots and lots of questions. A good crew should all pitch in to answer questions.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

unfold fold
Design, Design, Design. Sometimes people have stuff in mind, but they are not sure how to express it. We always draw out our plans, and show the customer what we are thinking. Do not settle! Always get what you want, because that is what you are paying for.
