What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

There are some costs associated with selling a home. Typically, there are taxes owed, fees related to the title policy and broker commissions. These costs are discussed from the very beginning so there are no surprises.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

I love getting to know new customers. First, since each situation is unique, I listen to understand my sellers' needs and their ultimate goals. I walk them through the selling options and the overall process so they know what to expect at each step. And, most importantly, I communicate and am responsive throughout our journey.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

Along with my Texas Real Estate License, I have taken additional coursework and have the following designations to help my clients: New Home Specialist Senior Real Estate Specialist (working with customers age 50+) Texas Affordable Housing Specialist

How did you get started doing this type of work?

I got started as a part-time agent because I was a homeowner at a young age and I loved the experience. Now, I work full time and my clients get my full attention. Homeownership can open the doors to financial independence and I love spreading the word.

I've worked with both home buyers and sellers, small business owners, and investors.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

My work is never done. Whether it's real estate, gardening or singing - I'm always learning and growing and the sky's the limit.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Not all agents are Realtors so I encourage anyone dealing in real estate to be sure they're working with a Realtor. Realtors are members of the National Association of Realtors. They are held to a higher standard and honor a code of ethics.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

Customers should ask: Are you a Realtor? How will you communicate with me? How is the market in my area specifically?
