What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

We have a conversation about what the client is looking to accomplish. Not every agent is the best fit so our goal is to make sure we can help you reach your goal and make your experience pleasant and successful.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration with a Concentration in Real Estate Land Use and Affairs. Carmen and I combined have over 12 years of experience in the real estate industry.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

I've always loved real estate. I would drive around and look at communities I liked and I also had a knack for business. These two passions allowed me to eventually open my own real estate brokerage and help clients with their real estate needs.

What types of customers have you worked with?

I've worked with buyers and sellers in several different cities in the Greater Seattle Area but most of my work is within a 15 mile radius of Bothell.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

I listed a house in Kirkland that was recently renovated. The home sold in a few days and the offer came in at $110,000 over the list price. That was a great day!

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Work with an agent who you feel comfortable with but also responds in a timely manner to your questions. Communication is important in real estate and an agent needs to be good at that. Also, they need to have experience in the field if they're going to be worth the commission they're charging. It's better to hire an experienced agent that charges a little more commission, than an agent who charges less and and hasn't closed many deals.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

Think about where you will move next and what would need to be taken care of in order to get you there. Moving can be a stressful experience, but if you work with our team, it will be much smoother. We will help you throughout the process to make it much more manageable and get your home sold when the time is right.
