Introduction

Please note: Dr Eskalyo is currently scheduling teletherapy sessions (ONLY) with NEW YORK residents, Mon-Friday. Thank you for your understanding. Dr Eskalyo is recognized by all insurance companies as an OUT OF NETWORK ONLY provider. Please check your individual insurance benefits. A reduced fee may be possible for someone who has no out of network coverage. We can discuss this during a consult phone call. Individual psychotherapy sessions - $375--45min sessions Couples/Marriage psychotherapy sessions - $425 60min sessions ================================== Let’s be a team, and get you to a better place. I will help you understand how it is that you came to the present place, and also what needs to be worked through to arrive at a place you’d rather be. I come with training and experience at an advanced post doctoral level and have been helping people for many years. I will listen, we will explore possibilities, insight will increase, changes take place. Please take a moment to read some thoughts my patients have shared in the “Reviews” section, then let’s have you come in for an initial session, see if it feels like a good “fit” for you. If so, we will begin the journey...looking forward to connecting, Dr Lisa Eskalyo

Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
Please see practice website. Recognized my most insurance companies as an Out of Network provider.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
I have always been interested in psychology and pursued this subject area in college initially. I later worked with court psychiatrists during my first career as an attorney. Afterward, I volunteered at a “Helpline” and then did volunteer research assistantships in psychology at NYU. I loved the work and decided to apply to doctoral programs in psychology after having met all of the academic requirements and exams. This was a wonderful experience and I have loved being a psychologist and working with my patients ever since. It is so very rewarding.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

unfold fold
I trained a staff at an organization that had referrals coming in from people affected by the aftermath of 9/11. I now do individual and couples psychotherapy and not the above “projects”
